Château Okanagan is a private lakefront estate in Kelowna, BC, made up of two separate properties, the Grand Residence and the Estate Villa. Both can be booked on their own or together. The questions below apply to either property. Where pricing, minimum stay, or policies differ, they're set out side by side in the comparison further down the page.

General Questions

Château Okanagan is a 44-acre private lakefront estate in Kelowna, BC, with two distinct properties, the Grand Residence and the Estate Villa. Together they offer 12 rooms, nearly 1 km of private shoreline, five beaches, two infinity pools, and a European-inspired spa.

The Grand Residence is booked exclusively as a whole property for one group at a time. The Estate Villa can be booked by the individual room or as a full villa. Pricing, minimum stay, and a few house rules differ between them, see the comparison below for the details.

We recommend booking at least three months in advance for peak season (June through September) and major holidays. Off-peak dates may be available on shorter notice. Contact our team for current availability.

Absolutely. Our Chef accommodates all dietary needs including allergies, gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, kosher, and halal requirements. Please share your requirements at the time of booking.

Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout both properties and across the estate grounds.

No. Château Okanagan is a strictly pet-free property at both the Grand Residence and the Estate Villa.

Yes. Onsite parking is available for all guests at both properties.

Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM at both properties. Early check-in and late check-out may be arranged in advance, subject to scheduling and additional fees.

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM at both properties.

Smoking is not permitted inside any building at either property. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

A security deposit is collected prior to or upon check-in at both properties, refundable within 14 days of check-out provided there is no damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Can I book just one room? No. The Grand Residence is booked exclusively as a whole property, all eight suites together. Individual rooms cannot be reserved separately.

How many guests can stay? Up to 16 guests.

What's the minimum stay? Three nights.

What's the minimum age to book? You must be 19 or older to book. Guests under 19 must be accompanied by an adult.

What does it cost? Rates start from $13,200 CAD per night for the whole property. Rates vary by season and dates.

What are the payment and cancellation terms? A deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment upfront. Cancel more than 6 months before arrival and your deposit is refunded in full; cancel within 6 months and the deposit is forfeited.

Are meals included? Daily breakfast is included. Lunch and dinner are arranged through our Estate Chef, with all dietary needs accommodated.

Are events or weddings allowed? Yes. One primary event, such as a wedding or celebration, is permitted per stay, confirmed in advance with our team. Other gatherings are limited to 24 guests, larger groups require written approval and may carry additional fees.

What activities and amenities are available? Tennis, two infinity pools, private beaches, kayaking, and a home theatre, among others. See the full Grand Residence amenities.

Can I book just one room? Yes. Book a single room, or reserve the full villa for exclusive use of all four suites.

How many guests can stay? Up to 2 guests per room, or up to 8 guests when booking the full villa.

What's the minimum stay? Two nights.

What's the minimum age to book? You must be 19 or older to book. Guests under 19 must be accompanied by an adult.

What does it cost? From $900 CAD per night per room, or $4,000 CAD per night for the full villa. Rates vary by season and dates.

What are the payment and cancellation terms? A refundable deposit of 25% of your reservation total confirms your booking, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment upfront. Cancel more than 30 days before arrival and your deposit is fully refunded; cancel within 30 days and it's non-refundable.

Are meals included? Daily breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. The main kitchen is reserved for Château dining experiences and isn't available for guest cooking. Lunch and dinner can be arranged with advance notice.

Are events or weddings allowed? No. The Villa doesn't accommodate parties or additional non-overnight guests without our team's prior written approval.
