GOLF CART USAGE GUIDE

For the Safety and Enjoyment of All Guests

Welcome to Château Okanagan. We are pleased to offer golf carts for your convenience during your stay. To ensure your safety and help us maintain the estate’s pristine condition, please review and follow the guidelines below:

General Use

  • Drivers must be licensed: All operators must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Stay on paved paths: Carts must be driven only on designated paved cart paths and roadways. This helps protect the landscape and ensures your safety.
  • Drive with care: Keep speeds below 10 mph and remain alert to pedestrians, wildlife, and other vehicles.

Restricted Areas

  • 🚫 No driving on the grass: Our lawns and gardens are carefully maintained. Please do not drive or park golf carts on any grassy areas.
  • 🚫 Do not use the steep road to the dock: This area is too steep for general golf cart use and poses a safety risk. Please walk. For guests unable to access the dock by foot, staff members are available to drive guests to the dock upon request.

Safety First

  • One seat = one person: Do not exceed the number of seats, and ensure all passengers are seated before moving.
  • Operate responsibly: Avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, or any form of reckless driving. Do not operate if under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Park thoughtfully: Always park carts in designated areas.

Enjoy your stay, and travel safely!
